Please see Reblog of this post….. > Our Third Album: Release Date and Launch Tour

PLEASE NOTE THIS POST HAS NOW BEEN RE-BLOGGED HERE as we had an image posting problem… Please head over there to comment… and all that. Thanks

As you may have noticed from us lot on twitter, we’ve been slogging away making the third Hope and Social studio album for the past couple of months… and being the kind of band that we are – with no lead-time between album completion and touring it – that means we’re about to release it… and announce our launch tour.

It Never Rains

We chose an ambitious release date, and one the superstitious amongst us may (nay should) have questioned… Friday the 13th of May.

It’d be a lie to say it’s been easy, in fact pretty much every possible obstacle has been put in our way to delay us. We’ve been swaddled in dark clouds of cold, Gary’s been called as far out on the road as Frankfurt, my throat is currently being treated to cotton-wool like care (yep there’s still some vocals to go down) and our CD pressers brought our deadline forward a week. Carnage.

Nevertheless, undeterred and with a push it through attitude, we are looking to hit our delivery date and get back on the road that never lies showing our wares up and down this fine land with a new record in hand, new songs in the arsenal and fire in our bellies…. starting with…:

Help us out

If you’re a fan, or if you love art, or music, or Ed, then please do spread the word on this for us. If you have a friend who’s into live music, then please bring them down. If you have a printer and live somewhere near one of our shows, click here or on the poster above and you can download all the posters for the shows. Print ’em out, put them in your local pub, sandwich shop, newsagent, record store, venue (ask first mind, it’s only polite). We’ll have jpegs for for your facebook wall/profile pics shortly, but if you have recycled paper, feel free to print and place.

So there you have it.

Please do come and play out, rolling sideways, meet like minds and have a reet good month of May time, back to the green, party shenanigans. More blog posts to come over the next few days: a blog over on The Culture Vulture about the Leeds Launch Party and our special guests, where to find sneak previews of the album online, and also an invitation to singers and choirs nationwide. See you soon, hopefully after some rest. Sleep Sound.

Hey there peeps, thanks for the feedback. I’ll amend the details appropriately. Aileen, we’ve got Jeff and Simon’s number for Hartlepool, and SP I’ll put the postcode in for the B&G – However, I’ll be putting it up here http://wp.me/p157jy-ss as we had a wee issue with image placement on this post… so I’ll be deleting this one shortly… I’ll copy and paste your comments in there though.
;)
Many thanks,
