Venue Change, Harrogate Sat 17th July

Hope and Social in “going to Rehab” SHOCKER!

Through circumstances beyond our control we’ve had to change the venue for the Harrogate gig on this Saturday from the Sun Inn to the upstairs club in Rehab, Harrogate. Should be grand… holds about 100 people, tiny stage and according to their website it is “is particularly popular for 18th and 21st birthday celebrations.” Excellent. Thank you to everyone that’s helped us sort this out (that means you Rachel in particular). It’s free in and we’ll be on at about 8:30/9

Remember remember the 4th of September

Hi

We’re just finalising details for what promises to be a fantastic day long event on the 4th of September. It will start and end in Leeds, distance will be travelled, music will be played, immense fun will be had. Keep the date free! We’ll be releasing the full plan early next week…. HINT: pack a bucket and spade.

Gigs gigs gigs…

The gigs have been great fun. The Duck and Drake at Leeds was sweatier than a weightlifters jockstrap…. (You can see some photos from the mighty Phil Barber here) and James Hamilton did an AMAZING vuvuzela solo in Manchester during Buzzer Goes. Thanks to all who’ve come down and shaken their asses. In particular, Ian Firth who came and drummed with us at Mojo last night… he’ll be with us tomorrow too don’tchaknow.

July 23 – 444 Club – The Rainbow, Digbeth, Birmingham

July 29 – Simon Solo (supporting Field Music) – Harrogate Theatre, Harrogate

August 14 – Deighton Festival – For more info pls contact us directly

August 15 – Moor Music Festival – Heslaker Farm, Skipton

Take it easy now… and remember, sunscreen and waterproofs are your friend.

Sounds Intriguing Mr Huxley, love hint number three….the engine noises seemed particularly appropriate considering some of the transportation you guys have suffered & endured through the years. Count us in for the 4th Septemeber, whatever it may entail….

Ah.. the Brit bus (or as Mr Furrball says, a Bristol VR :) )

We came across that bus in San Francisco in 2007, discovered 2 very good acts, completely by coincidence… one of them was from Inverness!

Looking forward to the funbus!
